Die EOS C400 ist die erste High-End Cinema EOS Kamera mit dem hochwertigen RF Bajonett und läutet eine bahnbrechende neue Ära für Canon Produkte ein – speziell für das EOS R System. Ihr kompaktes und leistungsstarkes, innovatives Designkonzept vereint fortschrittliche Funktionen und Spezifikationen, die normalerweise in größeren Kameras zu finden sind. Das handliche Design stellt Benutzerfreundlichkeit und Bedienbarkeit in den Vordergrund, ohne Kompromisse bei der Leistungsfähigkeit einzugehen. 6K BSI-Vollformatsensor und Triple Base ISO

Die EOS C400 ist mit einem hochmodernen 6K-BSI-Vollformat-CMOS-Sensor (Backside- illuminated Sensor) ausgestattet, der einen Dynamikumfang von 16 Belichtungsstufen bietet. Diese Technologie steigert die Effizienz der Lichterfassung und ermöglicht schnellere Auslesevorgänge, was eine hervorragende Bildqualität gewährleistet. Die Kamera setzt neue Maßstäbe mit der Canon Triple Base ISO Technologie, die für eine optimale Leistung bei wenig Licht und makellose optische Ergebnisse entwickelt wurde. Mit Basis-ISO-Werten von 800, 3.200 und 12.800 bei Aufnahmen im Canon Log 2 oder 3, besteht mehr Flexibilität bei Aufnahmen bei herausfordernden Lichtverhältnissen.

RF Bajonett

Die EOS C400 unterstützt die Canon RF Bajonett-Technologie und kann nahtlos mit einer breiten Palette von RF Festbrennweiten-, Zoom-, Hybrid-, Cinema- und VR-Objektiven kombiniert werden. Für noch mehr Flexibilität ohne Zubehör von Drittanbietern besteht bei der Kamera die Möglichkeit, die verschiedenen Canon EF-EOS R Adapter sowie den neuen PL-EOS R Adapter zu verwenden. Darüber hinaus bietet die Kamera erweiterte Metadatenfunktionen und erweiterte Anschlussoptionen, die eine Frame-to-Frame- Datenerfassung in Echtzeit ermöglichen. Dies verbessert die Arbeitsabläufe in den Bereichen VFX und Virtual Production Workflows.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

Canon setzt jetzt den Dual Pixel CMOS AF II auch im Cinema EOS System ein, der mit verbesserten Autofokusfunktionen überzeugt. Der Dual Pixel CMOS AF II deckt die gesamte Sensorebene zu 100% ab und liefert eine schnelle und präzise Leistung, die beim Dreh auf Anhieb mit Klarheit und Zuverlässigkeit überzeugt. Dieses fortschrittliche Autofokus-System bietet auch zusätzliche Vorteile: Gesichts- , Augen-, Körper- sowie Tier-Erkennung und -nachführung sind besonders dann nützlich, wenn man allein in einem dynamischen Umfeld arbeitet.

Aufnahmeformate

Mit mehr Optionen bei den internen Aufzeichnungsformaten kann das Format an spezifische Bedürfnisse angepasst werden. Zu den Optionen gehören das skalierbare 12- Bit Cinema RAW Light LT/ ST/ HQ von Canon, das zuverlässige 4:2:2 10-Bit XF-AVC und die neuen MP4-basierten Formate XF-AVC S und XF-HEVC S, die verschiedenen professionellen Anforderungen gerecht werden.
